Internship Information - NR 339

You find the internship, we provide the units. Internships provide critical "real-world" experience for our students, preparing them for successful careers in natural resources management. An internship can be a volunteer or employed position. Talk to a peer or faculty advisor soon about internship opportunities. Don't forget, the NRM website also posts employment listings you may use to research the possibilities.

Administration of Internships (any catalog)

  • All internships must be completed in same Quarter in which student has registered.
  • An Internship Approval Agreement form (see Internship Guidelines Packet below) must be signed prior to beginning internship by student, direct supervisor, student’s advisor, and internship advisor. Please allow plenty of time to complete all forms and register for NR339 on schedule.
  • Permission numbers are available from internship advisor once all forms are completed. Please check PASS for current advisor.
  • Required forms and detailed guidelines are all found in the Internship Guidelines Packet (.pdf) .
  • Student is responsible for securing internship.  Many current job listings are posted on our Employment Opportunities website.
